In a networked era marked by diversity, in every moment we are crossing cultures. With a new kairos comes new understandings and opportunities for cross-cultural missions. Missions is never the task of one generation alone; church history tells us that it must be passed from generation to generation. Cross-cultural mission opportunities are no longer remote nor distant; we should pay attention to both missions across ethnic and cultural boundaries, and gospel ministries among local new immigrants. These new conceptions of missions have prompted us to host next year's Hudson Taylor Legacy cross-cultural missions conference, in partnership with many mission organizations, to explore the passing on of the Christian Commission in a post-COVID world.
