| Speaker | Ahmad Zeividavi, the executive director of the House of Omeed, whose mission is to inspire hope and help in the lives of refugees and newcomers as they face the many adjustments of a new, unfamiliar, and often incomprehensible society. Ahmed was born blind to a Muslim family in the Middle East. He came to Christ when a missionary shared the gospel with him while a refugee in Turkey. Since arriving in Canada in 2009, God has used Ahmad's experience as a lonely refugee and has given him the vision for the House of Omeed, to help in practical ways and share the gospel. |
